This weekend, it was finally time for our training

This weekend, it was finally time for our trainingsweekend!
We started on Friday with pasta and soup, which had been expertly and somewhat chaotically prepared by several members.
Afterwards, the Game Tournament commenced, with ten teams competing to come out on top in Kubbs, Hints, 30 Seconds, Beer Pong, and Take 5. After five rounds, Merel and Jan were the clear winners with one tie and four victories.
Some people continued to play games afterwards, while others participated in karaoke. Imke even managed to fall asleep during the "very beautiful" singing. Eventually, some called it a night, while others became a safety hazard at ICA.

On Saturday morning, training began at eleven, which felt a bit early for some. Alex expertly managed to 'train out the hangover' with an assault course followed by several jumpshot exercises, resulting in some great action videos.
After lunch and a debate about how to pronounce "tosti" in English, the secret activity was revealed: Archery Tag. Though it was quite challenging, we started to get the hang of it after the first round. After several rounds, including a sudden death match, we concluded that "it’s hard to shoot someone because they keep moving."
We ended the trainingsweekend at Asserpark with some well-deserved pizza and watched the game of Dynamico, featuring Lennart and Alex, on the big (and small) screen.

We would like to thank everyone who helped make this weekend possible, and of course, Alex for the amazing training! This weekend is definitely worth repeating and will certainly be one to remember!

Hi everyone! At the 11th and 12th of October Centauri organizes a training and activities weekend🤾🏼‍♀️🎲At Friday evening we will start with a boardgame night and on Saturday we will have a training plus a, still secret, activity, then closing the weekend with a nice dinner! Put the date in your agenda and more information regarding the schedule and costs will follow soon💪🏼

Tuesday: 20:00-21:30

On Tuesdays, we train in hall 4.
On Wednesdays, we train in hall 2.

Recap from the Centauri weekend! We traveled all the way to Friesland and started with the game “levende bingo” while setting up our tents. The weather wasn’t on our side, but that didn’t stop us! Saturday morning, the Centauri commission sneaked off to Ameland, kicking off with the game: jachtseizoen. Their mission: find them ASAP! Despite the crazy weather- code yellow for wind and rain- we had fun exploring the island. In the evening, we cheered the Oranje team to victory and some of us even went to the town to celebrate🍻 Sunday we ended the weekend with a fierljep cursus in Ijlst. All in all, an unforgettable weekend and a special thanks to the Centauri weekend commission🙏🏻Have a great vacation, everyone! 🌞

Thanks everyone for your enthusiasm and endurance during the sponsorrun! We really enjoyed it and smashed our goal of running 188 km by running over 200 km in total!!💪🏻 Almost everyone ran 10 km each (or more), and the board exceeded their goal by running 22 km with weights! Even Marnix an Jan joined from Terschelling and Germany. Marnix ran 10 km with 10 kg of weights and Jan ran 15,59 km!!🥵 We are proud to say that we can donate €470 to children who don’t have enough money to afford sports, and we can use the other half for the Centauri weekend!🥳

One week ago, both the ladies and gents headed to Rotterdam for the GNSK! Despite several injuries, the ladies played some great matches. The boys hit their goal by winning a match, making us all proud💪🏻 A special shoutout to the parents who came to support us- it made the experience even more fun. And of course, a huge thank you to Alex for all his hard work🙌🏻🤾

This is the final week to sign up for the Centauri

This is the final week to sign up for the Centauri event, with the deadline on June 10th. Get ready for a weekend full of activities and camping in tents at a surprise location 🏕️ We’ll leave from Wageningen on Friday and return on Sunday afternoon. The cost will be around €65, covering gas, food, accommodation, and activities. We, as the Centauri weekend committee, are really excited and hope to see you there! 💥

Last Tuesday, both the ladies and the gents played a practice match. Proud to say the girls won 21-16, while the gents had a great match but unfortunately lost. We want to thank @hvbeertje for the great evening, and we’re looking forward to the GNSK next week!💥
